Éco-quartier NDG was lucky to receive funding for summer students from Service Canada. These jobs are aimed at students and have specific funding requirements:

• study in a field related to the environment, political science, communications, socio-
cultural animation, or in any field deemed relevant;
• be between the ages of 17 and 30 (INCLUSIVELY) at the time of employment;
• have been enrolled as a full-time student during the previous school year and expect to
pursue full-time studies during the subsequent academic year;
• be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident or designated refugee under the Immigration
and Refugee Protection Act;
• be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with the laws and regulations in force
in the province or territory concerned;
• Bilingualism (French and English, or more).

• Work experience in a field related to employment;
• Teamwork experience;
• Experience in animation (day camp, etc.);
• Interest in municipal policy;
• Volunteer experience;
• Involvement within community organizations;
• Be comfortable cycling and have a bike helmet.

The jobs available are: green patrol, summer camp animator, green alley agent, horticultural agent, food waste agent.
