Grey water presentation :

Would you like to learn a new idea to save/conserve water? Grey water might be the answer!

Greywater  is all wastewater generated in households or office buildings from streams without fecal contamination, all streams except for the wastewater from toilets. Sources of greywater include sinksshowersbaths, clothes washing machines or dish washers.

The application of greywater reuse in urban water systems provides substantial benefits for both the water supply subsystem by reducing the demand for fresh clean water as well as the wastewater subsystems by reducing the amount of wastewater required to be conveyed and treated.

We’ll discuss ways to create simple to more complex grey-water systems. Engineering student Ahmed (the Éco-quartier NDG green patroller) will be on hand to answer your questions.

Free! Presentation in English, French questions welcome.
