The Tandem team, whose work covers the entire borough of Côte-des-Neiges – Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, is mandated with offering citizens both individual and collective strategies to reduce the risk of becoming victims of crime as well as to increase their feelings of security. We offer a variety of tips and tools that can be divided into three dossiers.

1. People’s personal security

People’s personal security through information sessions to women, safety audits, workshops on safety in public spaces, stranger awareness for youth aged 6-12.

2. Safety of people’s personal property

Safety of people’s personal property through home security evaluations, engraving of personal property, or fraud prevention workshops.

3. Security for communities at large

Work in the so-called vulnerable sectors, working with citizens’ groups, and illegal tagging issues. More popular subjects include interent safety, cyber bullying, safety in public spaces, public transportation safety, fraud prevention, as well as others.
